Hey, I’m Vince Khoo, but my friends call me Vince or VK. I’m a UX Designer, UI Specialists, and Art Director.

17++ years of combined experience in UI/UX, branding and advertising. Industries that cover for:- Finance(Wealth Management and SME Loan) Insurances, Automobile, Travel, Computer & Electronics, and Consumer Goods.

Creativity + User Experience is a key factor in giving a company or brand and product a competitive edge in the market. I believe one size doesn’t fit all. So I come up with nifty and innovative ideas combinations with user experiences that are customized to work and make brands and products come alive. Once it catches on with consumers, it can have a turbo-charging effect.

What I'm doing

So what exactly do I do for UX Designer and UI Specialists? The answer is I help people converting their ideas from 45 thousand feet into workable products. It is like can you create value out of thin air. How? Here is the way I do it:-

Understand

Listen and understand their ideas and thoughts.

Convert

Convert the ideas into a readable and easy-to-understand user journey flow.

Wireframes

Create wireframes that match the whole user journey flow.

Sharing

Present to the product owner as a form of proof of concept:- also further exchanging ideas, recommendations, and best practices.

Prototyping

Push the proof of concept further by creating cross-device prototyping, which allows users to experience the actual user flow.

Testing

Having usability testing to collect users' feedback and prototype interaction through observation.

Refined

Refined prototype base on data collects users' feedback, one final round before handing work to the developer team.

It may look like a long process, but the efforts are 100% worth it in the long run. It will save you cost and development time in the future. You might say, why not using common user experience frameworks and their purposes:- (eg. the five elements framework and the design thinking framework). I tend to use different methods depending on the situation. And I will be a different kind of project methodology environment:- (eg. Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban to smoothen the overall process).

Vincent was the web design support when he joined my team.
